Just what a couple hundred veterans need to hear… a snobish, pampered, metro-sexual whining to them about his tales of whoa… but that is exactly what the Obamarxist did today at his speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Whaaah… well guess what BO…. I am challenging your Patriotism. I challenge your love of this country. You will be judged by your actions, not your words. So let’s take a look at your action.

You sat in Rev. Wrights church, a black liberation theology church, for over 20 years. Rev. Wright was your spiritual mentor. Rev Wright married you and Michelle, and baptized your kids. Your book’s title The Audacity of Hope comes directly from one of Rev. Wrights sermons. Well, lets see what Rev. Wright thinks about our great country:

So don’t try to bully me into not questioning your patriotism after you sat in that church for over 20 years.

Then we have this clip of Obama at a rally during the primaries…. hmmm

Then we have BO talking about why he won’t wear the American flag pin on his chest…

Now, we thought that maybe we were being too hard on BO, so we caught up with his wife, Michelle, to find out what she thought about Barack’s patriotism… here’s what she had to say…

If this sign doesn’t encapsulate the essence of the McCain campaign, I’m not sure what would. His smart advisors, albeit few and far between, have tried to keep McCain on a moderate to conservative message… while the candidate himself tends to drift too far to the right on many issues when he’s left to his own devices.

The right to life issue was one of those issues where McCain last week tried to get too cute by half and floated a the prospect of a VP pick that was pro-abortion.  As with any trial balloon, the campaign’s goal was to gauge the conservative response… and they got it. This from National Review Online:

No on Joe (And Tom Ridge, Too)

“As president of the United States, I will be a pro-life president and this presidency will have pro-life policies. That’s my commitment. That’s my commitment to you,” said McCain on Saturday. Nothing would do more to undercut this assurance — or to demoralize McCain’s base — than the selection of a vice-presidential nominee whose record and convictions don’t match this pledge.

Yet he seems to be flirting with the possibility of a pro-choice vice-presidential pick. “I think that the pro-life position is one of the important aspects or fundamentals of the Republican party,” said McCain last week in an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard. “And I also feel that — and I’m not trying to equivocate here — that Americans want us to work together.”

If “working together” on abortion is the rationale, then Lieberman should immediately be disqualified from vice-presidential consideration. Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-quasi-independent, is a good man who has demonstrated an admirable ability to follow his conscience on important issues, the war foremost among them. On abortion, he’s just wrong. His voting record earns perfect marks from pro-abortion groups such as NARAL. He has even opposed a ban of partial-birth abortions, which is one proposal in recent years that has managed to unite confirmed pro-lifers and moderate pro-choicers.

When McCain made his comment about the need for pro-lifers “to work together” with pro-choicers, he wasn’t talking directly about Lieberman. He was talking about Ridge: “You know, Tom Ridge is one of the great leaders and he happens to be pro-choice. And I don’t think that that would necessarily rule Tom Ridge out [for the vice presidency],” McCain said. The comment was widely interpreted as a trial balloon. Whatever the motivation, the notion deserves pricking.

Now, I’m not sure why McCain never seems to want “to work together” with conservatives, but I’ll tell ya’ what… if he thinks he can keep the conservative base together without picking a strong conservative, he’s smokin’ some of that Obama wacky weed.

Johnny, let’s make this abundantly clear - you pick a conservative, we’ll back the ticket… you pick a “moderate” you lose.

With Russian tanks still sitting in Georgia, it is smart to examine exactly how we got to this point. After their economic crisis ten years ago, Russia’s GDP has been growing at over a 7% annual rate.

The fuel driving the Russian economy is exactly that… fuel (oil). Russia is now the second largest producer of oil, behind Saudi Arabia. Flush with cash from record oil prices, Russia has been pouring money into it’s military and modernizing their weaponry.

So, it’s safe to say that record oil prices have enabled Russia to become a player again on the world stage. It is also safe to say that liberals, lead by Puny (Harry Reid) and Bug Eyes (Nancy Pelosi), are to blame for the record energy prices. Bill Clinton vetoed drilling in ANWR in the 1995, and the liberals have been standing in the way of expanding domestic energy production for most of the past half century.

With limited oil supply, and growing demand across the globe, oil prices have skyrocketed… so has Russia’s confidence… and Georgia is now paying the price. I am not arguing that the libs meant to aid in the resurgence of Russia, but their actions on behalf of the radical eco-commies do have consequences… some of the unintentional, but dangerous none the less.

Well, the commie apologists are out in force today, and unbelievably Pat Buchanan leads the pack.  Excerpts below from Real Clear Politics piece:

Blowback from Bear Baiting

Mikheil Saakashvili’s decision to use the opening of the Olympic Games to cover Georgia’s invasion of its breakaway province of South Ossetia must rank in stupidity with Gamal Abdel-Nasser’s decision to close the Straits of Tiran to Israeli ships.

Nasser’s blunder cost him the Sinai in the Six-Day War. Saakashvili’s blunder probably means permanent loss of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

American charges of Russian aggression ring hollow. Georgia started this fight — Russia finished it. People who start wars don’t get to decide how and when they end.

We built a Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline from Azerbaijan through Georgia to Turkey to cut Russia out. Then we helped dump over regimes friendly to Moscow with democratic “revolutions” in Ukraine and Georgia, and tried to repeat it in Belarus.

Americans have many fine qualities. A capacity to see ourselves as others see us is not high among them.

Imagine a world that never knew Ronald Reagan, where Europe had opted out of the Cold War after Moscow installed those SS-20 missiles east of the Elbe. And Europe had abandoned NATO, told us to go home and become subservient to Moscow.

How would we have reacted if Moscow had brought Western Europe into the Warsaw Pact, established bases in Mexico and Panama, put missile defense radars and rockets in Cuba, and joined with China to build pipelines to transfer Mexican and Venezuelan oil to Pacific ports for shipment to Asia? And cut us out? If there were Russian and Chinese advisers training Latin American armies, the way we are in the former Soviet republics, how would we react? Would we look with bemusement on such Russian behavior?

For a decade, some of us have warned about the folly of getting into Russia’s space and getting into Russia’s face. The chickens of democratic imperialism have now come home to roost — in Tbilisi.

So there you have it… Patrick Buchanan hopping on the Reverend Wright / Ron Paul Blame-America-First bandwagon. I think the old man (Buchanan) has finally lost his wits.

Let’s break this down… first of all, Georgia is a sovereign country…. to make the comment that Georgia started the fight with Russia is devoid of all logic. Georgia’s initial action was within it’s own borders, and had nothing to do with Russia’s territory.

Secondly, he calls free and democratic elections in Georgia and the Ukraine “dumping” of previous governments… note to Pat, we call that liberty, freedom, and freely elected governments.

Third, Buchanan oddly tries to imply, with his weird analogy of Russia being in Mexico, that Western Europe and the ex-Soviet Union captive nations have somehow been forced into the NATO alliance. Nothing can be further from the truth. All of these nations have voluntarily joined NATO for the very protection from what happened to Georgia over the past week.

See, Pat Buchanan can’t seem to find an ally that he is willing to stand with if it means potentially entering a conflict. Is there no principle, no provacation, no ally that Patrick would stand and fight for?

Ronald Reagan understood that the only thing the Stalinist understands is strength, and his peace through strength policy ended up destroying the Soviet Union. Patrick would do well to remember the lessons of Reagan.

To that end, Mark Levin reminded us of the great 1984 Ronald Reagan election commercial underscoring exactly this point. It’s a must watch, as it is just as relevant today as it was 24 years ago:

Leave it up to a group of weak knee’d liberal appeaser Senators in the Republican party to try to swipe defeat from the jaws of victory. And who else is leading the Gang of Five Idots Republicans (who are under cutting the only winning issue the republicans have, domestic energy production)… none other than Senator from South Carolina with a woman’s name… Lindsey Ghramnesty. This from Investor’s Business Daily:

The Five Stooge

Energy:If you thought Republicans were no longer “The Stupid Party,” then you haven’t met the senators who may have just destroyed the GOP’s biggest hope this election year: the drilling issue.

Sens. Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson of Georgia, Bob Corker of Tennessee, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John Thune of South Dakota — remember their names if things go badly for the GOP this November. With the issue of domestic drilling to provide relief for suffering consumers landing right in the laps of embattled congressional Republicans, those five — none of whom faces any immediate danger of losing his seat — decided to join with some crafty Democrats and smash to pieces that gift from the heavens.

The “compromise” they are promoting is actually a wholesale giveaway to Democrats. Touted as a drilling plan, it actually imposes about $84 billion in new taxes on oil companies and keeps the offshore and Arctic National Wildlife Refuge drilling bans.

In the five states supposedly being opened to more drilling — Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida — massive regulatory roadblocks and state legislative fights could mean drilling in theory, but precious little in practice. Imposition of an arbitrary 50-mile no-drilling zone denies access to known oil deposits.

Meanwhile, Democrats get oodles of goodies for their environmentalist backers: That $84 billion of the taxpayers’ money will be spent concocting green fuels and designing geekmobiles.

Why is it that there are so many freakin’ stupid Republicans representing the party now? We’d expect nothing less from the goober with a woman’s name, after all his mentor managed to get the nomination for President by making a career out of stabbing conservatives in the back. But John Thune? Chambliss? Korker… what the hell is the matter with you guys?

We urge all of the constituents of these 5 morons to call and their Senator’s office and tell them to shut the hell up! If they can’t work with their team on this issue, an issue that has their opponents on the ropes, then at least stop working against them!

Here is the link to the listing where you can find your Senator’s email address click here

Just a quick note to those of you who have Sirius XM radio… you can listen to yours truly rival Obama’s sputtering and bumbling when he’s off teleprompter… you know, there is a reason most bloggers have chosen the written word as a method to convey their thoughts….

Any way, tune in tomorrow to the “The Blog Bunker” show on INDIE TALK 110, Sirius XM Radio at 5pm… I’m sure it will be an experience.

As I’ve said many times, off teleprompter,  this guy is a babbling buffoon… but this video clip takes the buffoonery to a new level. Watch this:

Let me paraphrase…

‘Aren’t you such a cute little girl… well when you get a little older, you realize that America sucks. Half the country hates the other half. You’ll most likely live your life in poverty because our economy sucks. But don’t worry about any of that, because we’ll probably all spontaneously combust… and if we don’t we’ll sure as heck all drown as the ice caps melt and oceans overtake the planet… but thanks for the question… sweet dreams honey.’

Why is it that liberals… Marxists… abhor capitalism? Why is it that the candidates on the left, largely in the Democrat party, demonize great American companies in their efforts to get elected.

To listen to them, the Obamarxist in the lead, America would be better off without American companies… not quite sure who would fund the government for their socialist policies, but with libs, that’s quite beside the point.

To listen to Obama out there on the stump, he pretty much has declared war on American industry. I’ll go through a short list of these nasty predatory industries below… just to give you a flavor of his dripping contempt for our capitalist economy.

The Evil Credit Card Industry

Note to BO… no one forces anyone to apply for a credit card. No one forces anyone to buy anything with their credit card. No one forces an individual to not pay for the items they purchase with their credit card each month within their grace period. But according to BO, Americans are a bunch of dumbasses who can’t (or don’t) read their contracts, and can’t (or don’t) understand that if they don’t pay their balance every month, things get much more expensive.

To the deluded mind of a Marxist, we don’t hold people accountable for their actions. We instead find excuses for their irresponsible behavior, and blame the companies for ‘tricking” them into buying their cigarettes and beer on their credit cards.

The Dastardly Mortgage Companies

Ohhh… so now it’s not only the evil credit card companies that trick people into loans they can’t afford, our mortgage industries do the same thing according to the Obamaxist. They force people out of the apartments or houses that they rent. They force them into their cars to go on a house buying search. They force them to pick a house that they can’t afford, and then they force them to sign on the dotted line on the loan they can’t afford to buy that house they can’t afford.

To the deluded mind of a Marxist, we shouldn’t hold adults accountable for their actions when they purchase something they can’t afford… like a house. Forget the fact that most of the people who purchased homes they can’t afford, probably spent more time researching the features of their cell phones then they did reading the documents they were signing. Most didn’t bother to hire a lawyer… for the largest purchase they’ve ever made… to make sure their interests were protected in the contract they were signing.

The Big Bad Oil Companies

Yeah… Exxon make $11 billion in profit last quarter… but what the Marxist doesn’t do is tell his audience “the rest of the story”, as the great Paul Harvey says. It’s true Exxon made $11 billion, but they also paid over $33 billion in taxes to the government… so the government actually made three times as much as the shareholder of Exxon. Do you think the drones in the audience would have been hissing as much about Exxon’s profits if they were told the whole truth?

What the Marxist doesn’t understand is that these are the very companies that make our economy move. Without the oil and gas that they bring to market, a very costly product to bring to market by the way, this country would grind to a halt. See, the Marxist doesn’t need to get bogged down in such details… it cramps their propaganda style if you will.

Those Crooked Health Care Insurance Companies

Listen to the words the Marxist choses to use. ‘We have to tell companies that you’ve got to pay for X ‘. Since when, in a capitalist economic system, does government tell a private company what they have to do, or how they are going to run their business? Why not let the free market dictate change within the market if such change is needed?

Those Bastards in the Pharmacutical Industry

(about 3 mins into clip)

Another great American industry, the best pharmaceutical companies in the world, are now somehow the boogiemen because they want to protect their companies interest from being encroached upon by government. Since when does a product of a private company become the right of everyone to have? This is now the argument of the Marxists… that everyone has the right to a private company’s product simply because it improves their health. How far are we going to take that leftist logic? What about Cheerios… should everyone be entitled to free Cheerios for their kids because it’s healthy for them? What about baby formula? You get the point…

I could keep going, but I think you get the picture. The Marxists in the Democrat party, and there are many, don’t care much for American industry. Forget the fact that most of them, Barack included, don’t have a scintilla of experience in any of these industries. Think about that for a moment… as far as I can tell, Barack has never had a real job in his life. He’s never worked in any of these industries, in any capacity, yet he somehow knows how he’s going to reform all of them. Tell them exactly what they can and can not do. Tell them how much money they can make in profit, and how much to charge for their products.

The arrogance of the Marxist is stunning is it not?

When will the global cooling deniers finally submit to the overwhelming scientific consensus showing earth is now in a cooling phase, and man has nothing whatsoever to do with climate change?

Here is yet another nail in the so-called global warming coffin. This from the Australian:

Climate hysterics v heretics in an age of unreason

IT has been a tough year for the high priests of global warming in the US. First, NASA had to correct its earlier claim that the hottest year on record in the contiguous US had been 1998, which seemed to prove that global warming was on the march. It was actually 1934. Then it turned out the world’s oceans have been growing steadily cooler, not hotter, since 2003. Meanwhile, the winter of 2007 was the coldest in the US in decades, after Al Gore warned us that we were about to see the end of winter as we know it.

In a May issue of Nature, evidence about falling global temperatures forced German climatologists to conclude that the transformation of our planet into a permanent sauna is taking a decade-long hiatus, at least. Then this month came former greenhouse gas alarmist David Evans’s article in The Australian, stating that since 1999 evidence has been accumulating that man-made carbon emissions can’t be the cause of global warming. By now that evidence, Evans said, has become pretty conclusive.

Yet believers in man-made global warming demand more and more money to combat climate change and still more drastic changes in our economic output and lifestyle.

The reason is that precisely that they are believers, not scientists. No amount of empirical evidence will overturn what has become not a scientific theory but a form of religion.

Arther Herman, the author of the above piece, is exactly right… the so-called “climate change crisis” has become nothing more than a cult religion. They cooling deniers are not going to accept any evidence, no matter how sound, that disproves that man causes global warming or climate change.

You see, their goal is really not to “save the earth”… no, no… their real agenda is to institutionalize communist economic policies in capitalist countries. This is why I call them eco-commies, and they will not stop until Marxism reigns in the United States.

Investors Business Daily has a great piece on this very topic;

The Environmentalists’ Real Agenda

Delivering the keynote address at the United Nations forum on Indigenous People on Monday, Bolivia’s President Evo Morales told the adoring crowd that “if we want to save our planet earth, to save life, to save mankind, we have a duty to put an end to the capitalist system.”

Morales elaborated on that by calling for an end to “unbridled industrial development, extraction of natural resources, excessive consumption of goods and accumulation of waste.

“More conveniently, he also demanded that trillions of dollars from the West be diverted to places like Bolivia, “to repair the earth.”

Seldom has the environmentalist agenda to end the capitalist system been laid out so plainly.

But in reality, it’s capitalism — combined with the framework that enables it to flourish, like rule of law and property rights — that has lifted billions of people out of poverty and improved the environment. Contrary to Morales’ assertions, the most capitalist countries are also the cleanest.

According to a 2006 study by the Heartland Institute, free enterprise does more to protect the environment than state intervention.

“The nations that have the best track records on environmental protection and improvement are those with the highest amount of free-market capitalism,” wrote Samuel Aldrich and Jay Lehr, in “Free Enterprise Protects the Environment.”

Morales is a Marxist, so the environmental records of the communist and socialist systems he touts to save the earth are instructive.

After communism fell in Eastern Europe, some of the biggest revelations were about how vast the pollution was in countries where no one was permitted to own or care for land.

Getting rid of capitalism created the black rivers of China, filled Eastern Europe’s skies with unfiltered coal and diesel exhaust, brought deforestation that’s led to sandstorms in China, spilled oil that destroyed Siberian lakes, and poisoned land with mercury and nickel waste in large swaths of Eastern Europe and Cuba.

So the eco-commies adopt a constituency that can not speak for itself (the environment), and presses ahead with their real agenda… Marxism in America.

From the takes one to know one files comes this beaut… ABC News:

Michelle Obama: Barack Is No Elitist

First lady hopeful Michelle Obama says that a recent John McCain campaign ad characterizing her husband as a self-involved celebrity on the order of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears has it all wrong.

“It’s funny to have anybody characterize Barack as an elitist,” Obama told “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts during an exclusive interview.

“You know, this is the kid who was raised by a single mother, who didn’t have access to many resources, who, you know, has walked away his entire life from lucrative careers to work in the community,” she said of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. “This guy, you know… he personifies all of what, you know, we hope that our kids can be.

Hmmm… let’s see… didn’t have many resources, yet somehow he was able to graduate from Harvard Law School. He moved to Chicago for the primary purpose of building his political career, lived off the taxpayers, and is now a millionaire… but no elitist.

How many non-elitists that you know say this at a San Francisco fund raiser with other multi-millionaires (video):

Would a non-elitist have their own 757 jet, with their own little logo in the place where an  American flag resides on every other plane in America?

The Conservative Post caught up with Michelle Obama to ask her some of these questions, and this is what she had to say (video):

Feeling a bit empty about that response, we tracked down his spiritual mentor, and pastor for 20+ years for his thoughts on whether Snobama was an elitist or not. Here’s what he had to say (video):
